A fifty-two-year-old mother of six, Karen Willsey, finds it difficult to make time for daily exercise. As a former competitive gymnast, Karen now discovers that she even cannot bend and touch her toes. She pondered long and figured out a solution, creating a unique stretching app called WeStretch. With the help of a few other tech-savvy women, Karen was surmounting hurdles with the sole intention to help people to stretch every joint in every direction so that they can lead better lives.
In a phone conversation with Karen, the app creator with a passion for innovation, I had the chance to learn something new; now, I am willing to stretch it out and get moving. My confession: I have never taken stretching seriously.
Karen, a devout Catholic, resides in Grande Prairie, Alberta, 200 km from my parish in Grimshaw. I am impressed with Karen, who provides solutions to keep people healthy, happy, and holy.
WeStretch App promises surprising results
WeStretch, a free mobile app, allows users to follow a custom, guided stretching routine. With the help of artificial intelligence, there are thousands of stretches to keep you on your toes, though you’ll only see a handful at a time.
“The app lets you know which body part needs exercise,” Karen tells me in a telephonic conversation on December 18. Karen got my reference from Hervey Chabot, a mutual friend, as a “social media ninja priest.” I love technology. I love to stay as an uncommon priest.
WeStretch merges Kinesiology, Yoga, and Pilates into daily routine stretches using artificial intelligence and various algorithms. This unique app promises to prevent injury, reverse the signs of aging, increase flexibility, and reduce stress.
Ada, the virtual instructor for WeStretch, customizes the daily routine depending on time availability and body parts selected to exercise.
“It’s cool,” Karen says. “Imagine that you will never forget your physiotherapy instructions because you have an app that is easy to follow along with the exact movement that assists recovery.”
WeStretch App for all age groups
The app is easy to use even if you never did play a sport in your entire life. Moreover, you don’t even need to be techno-savvy to get started.
A non-athletic Grandma Mimi started using the app. Thanks to her daughter Josee Wiegel, who set it up for her mom. On one bizarre day, the garage door slammed shut and locked grandma Mimi outside of the house. Seventy-year-old Grandma Mimi noticed a window open a crack, so she climbed through it, falling eight feet into the laundry room. Broken bones? None! (Although her shoulder was a bit sore afterward.) She remains grateful for doing the stretches suggested by the app. “I think I am much more flexible,” said Grandma Mimi with a smile. Read more about Grandma Mimi on WeStretch Blog
You set the stretch routine length. Karen advises me to try for 3 minutes for a few consecutive days. The app will track your progress. You can create a stretching challenge for your friends to keep them moving, too.
WeStretch App Users Testify
“…the product changed my life. In the past two months, I’ve gone from an extremely sedentary couch-potato, with a lower back so tight that I couldn’t lay down without a pillow under my knees, to a guy who stretches 40 minutes every day,” wrote Chris Torrance, who enjoys reviewing technology on ProductHunt.com. WeStretch kept him motivated when previous apps failed to meet his needs.
Bethe Goldie, a retired college Kinesiology instructor, calls WeStretch a “magic wand” for the aging. This “functional fitness” app takes a personalized approach to stretching for everyone who uses it.
Jenna Maxwell, Marketing Health & Fitness Enthusiast, assumed that there was no stretch she missed. She admits that WeStretch points out which part of the body needs stretching, even you missed it in your previous stretching routines.
Concluding Notes
I am learning that stretching works best when you hold a stretch for one second or longer. Brian Sherk, a physiotherapist from Grande Prairie, talks about the length of time you ought to “hold a stretch” and how to move safely. For those new to stretching, merely getting into position is a stretch enough. As you continue the use the app, Ada gradually increases the hold length to challenge you and advance your flexibility.
Karen wants this life-changing app to reach the maximum people possible. Karen added me as a premium member to try out the app and learn just how good I can feel. Why not join Karen to promote health, happiness, and holiness. Download the app and start stretching to access life-time benefits.

It’s time to stretch a bit during the holi-days of christmas or holidays for a fresh start. I am trying out WeStretch App. I should challenge myself, touch toes mission. I never did succeed in it. That may change now.
